Tom is taking a wee bike ride with his dear friend Andre Chanavat. From 31st August to November 13th they will tour about 2000 miles of the Pacific coast. Starting in Vancouver, they will wind their way through British Columbia, Washington, Oregon and California till they reach the Mexican border and Tijuana.
When Tom is not riding his bike he plays in the mystical band Chemistry Lane who will one day befuddle the airways with their post-cello smack rock. Tom sometimes likes to believe he is the venerable Lord Scaggers, especially when he has imbibed too much wine, which he has a fair fancy for. You may surmise that Tom has only a tenuous grip on reality. However, this blog and the tales told within it are true. I hope you find them vaguely entertaining.
